Point of Care Ultrasound: A Curriculum for Physicians
The Global Health Program at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) has developed a distance education curriculum and certification program to equip physicians with basic point of care ultrasound skills.
Curriculum Overview: Cognitive, procedural and psychomotor components.
Training outline: 4-month course includes pretest, online interactive modules supplemented with monthly virtual training sessions, in-person hands-on workshop with assessment. Ongoing mentorship and opportunity for advance training.
